When Jay’s parents divorce at age 16,
he moves with his mom from a small
dusty inland town to the coastal surfing
town of J-Bay. He will be attending Bay
Side High School, and after being home-
schooled his whole life, this is his very
first time at a real school. For the first
time he has to deal with teachers, bullies,
cliques, girls, and trying to fit in.
